The story actually begins in 1992, when Lisa Aitchinson, founder of Aitchinsons Landscapes, launched a landscaping business specialising in bespoke garden design, maintenance, patios, planting, and turf across the Macclesfield and Cheshire region
Since then, Aitchinsons Landscapes has grown into a well-respected team of multi-skilled professionals, recognised for transforming outdoor spaces with practical expertise. We've turned this passion for garden to care into a simple to use product, that can help everyone achieve the garden they deserve.
Why We Started
Lisa’s decades of landscaping experience made one thing clear: many people struggled to maintain a high‑quality lawn over time. Frequent interventions, seasonal applications, and unclear instructions meant results were often patchy and frustrating. She saw first-hand how clients wanted a healthier lawn, without the guesswork or constant upkeep.
Inspired by that insight — and backed by her deep horticultural knowledge — The Grass Is Always Greener was born. We set out to simplify lawn care through seasonal, easy‑to‑use lawn packs that deliver pro-level performance in minutes, not hours
